Coping amidst Covid….Mother Earth as we know it is finally healing while its citizens all over the world are in an uproar! Some grieving, some raging, some championing for change, some barely getting by, some still indifferent....and yet some relentlessly shaping the lives of our futures!!! Mayhem it has been....and the madness will continue, but if we could all just pause in our tracks for a second, just stop thinking only for ourselves for a minute and take the time to understand that the pot is big enough for all to share, be it love, be it compassion, be it knowledge, be it wealth....we can all heal the world together!

#Faith #Hope #A Prayer sketch from eons ago….

I once read a quote by Mark Twain in my father's diary “Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can read.” This has been so powerful and has stayed with me all my life! Let us learn to be kind to one another, let us teach it in our own homes first, let us lead by example and surely the world would be a much brighter and a much better place for all of us to live in.

So many issues that plague the world today, Corona has brought the world to a stand still. While some are still grappling with the loss of their loved ones others have sought to violence and rage - blaming the system, blaming their leaders, blaming anything that they can put the blame on. Violence begets violence and the cycle continues. Makes you sit and wonder what went wrong and what we are still doing wrong!

We all have superhero powers within us, I honestly believe that we possess the capability to change at least one thought or shape one life in our lifetime be it a friend or a spouse or a child. I have often observed that children are like clay, how you mold them is what they become! If you have helped build a strong foundation, there is no way they can go wrong as an adult - it's a step closer to building our future. I look around today, tune in to the news and the news is depressing. People seem to have lost all their senses…..humanity seems to be a dwindling light far in a distance – we seem to forget the simple fact that we are all humans first and the very fact that one human can inflict so much suffering on another just escapes me.

Eye for an eye and soon the whole world will be blind! In this digitized era we’ve progressed and made advancements with all the technology in the world however, in the process we've forgotten to be human, we’ve forgotten how to interact with each other, we’ve forgotten to console each other, we’ve forgotten to be happy with each other. We have all been programmed to “chase” - some chasing their careers, some chasing their dreams, some chasing after their kids, we have all got a different kind of chase going on! Maybe it’s time to rethink our “chase” - maybe we all ought to learn to be happy again, kind again, simple again and this might just be our saving grace that will reshape the trajectory of our future!

Perhaps Corona is here to wake us all up, a gentle reminder to act selflessly, to make new resolutions, to right every (or most) wrong, to mend our relationships and restore the very core of being human! With these profound thoughts close to midnight I want to leave you all with Naomi Judd’s mission statement and my life’s motto ~ Slow down, Simplify and Be kind!!
